Designed for an Iceland trip, this is hands down the most capable Defender we’ve ever built. It came with 40-inch tires but is also capable of running the enormous balloon tires that are necessary for the arctic terrain in that country. We installed portal axles and included onboard air and a Central Tire Inflation system to make sure the artic tires stayed inflated. The Lowrance GPS system—one of the world’s best— was there to keep the driver on course, even when there were no roads. Other stand-out features include an infrared camera that helps the truck see and avoid game on the road, and one-of-a-kind bespoke seats that used the last roll of German Houndstooth plaid that was ever made.
