Let’s be honest, it’s been a long pandemic. And, while global supply chains have caused delays in vehicle and parts shipments, and by extension, slowed our production, we’ve still built and delivered some truly incredible trucks.
Among the many vehicles we built recently, one of our favorites was a Defender 130 Unlimited that appeared in a national David Yurman campaign starring famed photographer and climber Jimmy Chin (video here). We also delivered a fully modernized 1968 Series IIA (photos here) and most recently, a stunning Tasman blue Defender 110 (photos here) that will be used for overland trips across the country. Despite the many setbacks caused by the pandemic, we will continue to ship our amazing vehicles to loyal customers throughout the United States.
Because our trucks are built from the frame-up in the USA, we guarantee that all modifications are fully integrated— frames, drivetrains, electrics, etc.—rather than after-the-fact add-ons. Our team has also streamlined our internal processes for faster build times, made amazing outdoor gear partnerships that we’ve shared with our followers, and we’ve started construction on a new, purpose-built, Heritage Driven facility that we expect to move into in Q2 of 2022.
And despite the lockdowns, we also found time for some amazing adventures including an overland trip in Iceland (that’s me and my wife in Iceland in the photo above), a ton of skiing, camping, and cool road trips with our families. We are still here, and we are bullish for the future!
